Focus on safety and quality

In last-mile pharmaceutical distribution, every detail counts. That is why, at VTS, quality is not an afterthought but is structurally embedded in the process. Both our transport and cross-docking operations are fully organised in accordance with GDP guidelines and established procedures.

Our own in-house drivers are specifically trained in pharmaceutical distribution and speak Dutch and/or French. As we work with our own staff and equipment, we maintain maximum control over service, compliance and performance. Day in, day out.

Full traceability right to the door

Every order is tracked in real time throughout the entire process. Using scanning and automated sorting, we know exactly where a parcel is at all times: from arrival at the cross-dock to delivery to the end user. Temperature is continuously monitored and digital temperature reports are available immediately after delivery. This ensures complete transparency for customers.

The future of last-mile distribution requires a network that can grow in line with increasing volumes and complexity. To keep pace with these developments, a network is needed that is intelligently designed and ready for scaling up. With advanced automation, such as our sorting machine, and the smart use of data and technology, last-mile distribution is becoming increasingly efficient and flexible. This creates a future-proof network that is prepared for growth without compromising on control or quality.

Sustainability and innovation in last-mile pharmaceutical distribution

VTS continues to invest actively in the future of pharmaceutical last-mile distribution. We are committed to the electrification of our fleet, smart technology and making our operations more sustainable . AI-driven planning systems optimise routes on a daily basis and ensure capacity is utilised as efficiently as possible. A key component of the last-mile process is the automated sorting machine, which processes large volumes quickly and accurately. In this way, VTS combines scalability with reliability, without compromising on quality or flexibility.
