VTS is continuously looking for possibilities to keep the impact on the environment as small as possible. Our participation in the Lean & Green program contributes to this goal. Lean & Green is an important CO2 initiative for Transport and Logistics organisations. We have successfully demonstrated that we have reduced our CO2 emissions by 20% in the period 2016-2019. With this we have received our first Lean & Green star. A great milestone for VTS!
The reduction of CO2 has been achieved by:
- Efficient operations and planning
- Fuel-saving measurements
- Fleet modernization
- Commissioning of new building (completely gas-free and climate neutral)
- Use of LHVs

Lean & Green aims to structurally reduce CO2 emissions within logistics. This is done by activating collaborations, sharing knowledge and deploying smart and effective measures. Lean & Green helps on the way to sustainable solutions and efficient logistics processes.
