Sustainable logistics. The right way forward.

At VTS, we believe that sustainability is not a standalone issue, but an integral part of the way we work, grow and create value for customers, employees and society. That is why we are proud to share our Sustainability Report 2025. In this report, we outline the key steps we have taken over the past year to further embed sustainability within our Care. Connect. Deliver. strategy .

For VTS, 2025 was all about turning ambition into action. For example, we achieved an 11% reduction in CO₂ emissions compared with 2024, switched our sites in the Netherlands and Belgium entirely to 100% renewable electricity, and committed to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). In addition, VTS continued to invest in making its vehicle fleet more sustainable by introducing electric trucks and vans.

Significant progress has also been made in the areas of buildings and certifications. Our new VTS 6 warehouse achieved BREEAM Excellent certification, and VTS received the EcoVadis Bronze Medal in recognition of the progress made in the field of sustainability.

But for us, sustainability goes beyond the environment. The Sustainability Report shows how we are working towards a future-proof organisation that prioritises our people, quality, innovation and social engagement. For example, in 2025 we set up a Green Team to embed sustainability objectives within our organisation and laid the foundations for the VTS Foundation, through which we aim to further strengthen our contribution to society.

In the Sustainability Report 2025, we provide an insight into the progress we have made, as well as the challenges and ambitions that lie ahead. Together with customers, employees, suppliers and partners, VTS continues to build a more sustainable future for pharmaceutical logistics.
