Our new state-of-the-art GDP pharma warehouse has different temperature zones (-45, -40, -25, +5 and +20 degrees Celsius) and even more options for you to store pharmaceutical products under the right conditions. Quality and safety is always guaranteed. The warehouse is entirely dedicated to pharma and healthcare. Also a special temperature-controlled GMP/ secondary packaging room is available and a -80 degrees Celsius Freezer farm is being set up.
The construction of the new GDP warehouse
The new warehouse has now been completed. The warehouse is 8,100 m2 and completely built to safely store pharmaceutical products. With 380 tons of steel, 6.850 m2 of concrete panels, 2.5 km of refrigerant pipe and 3,300 m2 of floor insulation, the warehouse is ready to store 12.576.870 kg of pharmaceutical products.
The system and the installations
In order to always keep the different temperature zones at the right temperature the climate control technology is very important in the building. The system is based on two separate CO2 cooling and freezing installations, each with a capacity of 600kW. These installations control 76 evaporators, spread over various storage halls. In this way we guarantee the humidity and temperature requirements that apply to the storage of pharmaceuticals
To guarantee continuously validated (GDP) temperature requirements, the entire installation is redundant, with the two cooling and freezing installations serving as a back-up for each other.
