The client:
Viatris is a global healthcare company uniquely positioned to bridge the traditional divide between generics and brands, combining the best of both, to more holistically address healthcare needs globally. GMP challenge:
Viatris approached VTS for a GMP solution. The project was a critical part in the rebranding journey of Mylan and Meda becoming Viatris. For this purpose, all products intended for the Swiss market needed to be provided with a new label.
The Project:
For this project, we first mapped out together what needed to be done. We handled the transportation to VTS, the relabeling of the products, release of the processed batches as well as the transportation to Switzerland.
We performed a physical check of all the volume in our warehouse in Boxmeer based on a guideline document from Viatris. As such, we were able to determine on-site what needed to be stickered. This approach saved time for Viatris and we ensured availability of the products in Switzerland. Almost 500.000 packs were labeled at VTS in Boxmeer.
All packs were completed and rebranded. The close cooperation between the various functions was effective, efficient and overall very successful.
