The new warehouse, that has been opened in 2018, is state-of-the-art and equipped with all the new technology. This includes safety measures and technology. Numerous security measures have been taken in and around the warehouse. Practices have also been organized in such a way as to optimize safety. In this article we explain this in more detail.
Maximum security warehouse
Our new warehouse in Boxmeer enjoys maximum security so that the quality and safety of the products remains guaranteed. Of course the warehouse is equipped with a fire and burglar alarm. In addition, there are also various camera systems in operation in and around the warehouse in order to register everything, while a concrete parapet and electric fencing around the premises keep out unwanted visitors. These are just a few of the many modern, and extremely secure, technical gadgets with which our warehouse is fitted.
GDP guidelines and 100% temperature monitoring
VTS works fully in accordance with GDP guidelines in order to guarantee the quality of pharmaceutical products during both storage and distribution. Among other things, validated systems have been implemented, equipment is serviced according to the manufacturer’s instructions and measures have been taken to keep the storage facilities clean and free from pests. In addition, by means of 100% temperature control, we can guarantee that there are no temperature deviations. The whole warehouse is fitted with sensors with which the temperature is monitored. As soon as the temperature threatens to fall outside the range, an alarm notification is sent, which is acted upon 24/7. This way we can ensure that the quality and temperature of usually expensive pharmaceutical and healthcare products is absolutely guaranteed.
