Roland Kuyer Transport nominated for best truck of the Netherlands

During the upcoming Truckstar Festival in Assen (30-31 July 2011), Roland Kuyer Transport from Oeffelt, regular charter of VTS, is nominated with its Volvo FH520 for the best truck of the Netherlands in the category of refrigerated transport.

VTS congratulates Roland with this election and wishes him success at the Truckstar Festival!

 

 

VTS sponsors KWF

Riny van der Zanden, international driver at VTS, participated on behalf of the Foundation Team Onderweg and sponsored by VTS on  June 9th 2011 in the bicycle ride Alpe d'HuZes for KWF (Foundation Against Cancer). On this day Riny climbs the Alpe d'Huez mountain six times in the fight against cancer. In so doing, he contributed to the total amount of over 20 million euros which had been collected this day. VTS congratulates Riny and KWF with this fantastic achievement!

 

 

4 Volvo FH tractor supply

As an extension to the existing fleet this year four new Volvo FH Volvo Trucks were supplied by BAS on May 20th. These tractors are equipped with Euro 5 EEV engines which reduces hydrocarbon emissions by 70% and soot by 30%.

   

VTS invests in new trucks / trailers
In 2011, the fleet will expand with 10 new dual-temp trailers that can carry products at two different temperatures. All trailers are equipped with real time temperature monitoring and alarm.
Moreover, for this year twenty new Volvo FH tractors have been ordered. All tractors are equipped with efficient Euro 5 EEV (Enhanced Environmental friendly Vehicle) engines which pollution is minimal. The tractors are deployed across Europe. This enables VTS to meet the growing demand for refrigerated transport from the pharmaceutical industry.
 

Our fleet of dual-temp cooling trailers has been extended with three new trailers. These trailers are able to transport products under two different temperature conditions. 

All trailers are equipped with a real time temperature tracking and alarm system. These trailers are mainly deployed for the transportation of pharmaceutical products.

New office VTS

On Saturday 15 November of last year we moved to our new office at Handelsstraat 28, Boxmeer, the Netherlands.

A modern spacious building with a lot of daylight thanks to its many windows and the skylight in the hallway. Our address has not been changed. In this new office we will continue to work at further developing the VTS services.
